04 Myofascial Release

We don’t operate on touch-and-go.

In conjunction with the other five modalities that we offer, Myofascial Release stimulates the body’s stretch reflex. This is achieved by applying steady pressure to the connective tissue that encompasses most structures within the body. This tissue is known as fascia, which provide strength and support to the very structures it encompasses.

The fascia can be restricted by trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures - resulting in bundled points of tightness or restriction in the tissue. By carefully stimulating this tissue, we’re able to target trigger points and enhance the flexibility and longevity of the muscles they support.

The Myologic Method

Nobody knows your pain better than you do, so we make it our mission to gather the best, most comprehensive data regarding your soreness, aches, and pains before we start.

With that information in hand, we'll guide you through our tactical approach to the best massage in Austin, each of which uses six personally tailored modalities.

Then, it's time to start. During the Myologic process, we'll be sure to communicate with you and alter our course of action in accordance with your needs.
